Netflix announced that Young Royals season 2 has officially wrapped production. The Swedish teen drama series,

Although the going is tough at first, he comes to appreciate his time at the school and the people that surround him.

Young Royals season 1, which chronicled Wilhelm's sexual awakening, saw him falling in love with his Hillserska classmate Simon (Rudberg).

However, the series threw a wrench in their blossoming love when an unexpected accident caused him to suddenly become first in line for the throne.

Although the responsibility isn't even necessarily something that he wants, it may take him away from Hillerska, his new friends, and Simon for good.

Although Young Royals season 2 was announced in September 2021, it didn't begin filming until February of this year for reasons likely due to COVID-related delays.

Wilhelm and Simon's relationship arc will most likely provide the drama at the center of Young Royals season 2.
