As a result, Senator Bail Organa asks Obi-Wan, now going as Ben, for help, as he’s the only one he trusts and who also knows the truth, prompting Kenobi to leave Tatooine to save Leia.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was originally supposed to premiere on Wednesday, May 25, before being moved to Friday, May 27.

While no reason was given for this change in schedule, one likely factor for the change was 2022’s Star Wars Celebration held in Anaheim, California, from May 26 to May 29.

dropping the first two episodes on Disney+ at 9 p.m. PT on May 26, after a special screening held at the Star Wars Celebration convention two hours earlier.
