Series lead Robbie Amell provides an update on Upload season 3's episode count, hinting it will contain more episodes than the shortened season 2.
Created by The Office and Parks and Recreation's Greg Daniels, Upload is set in the year 2033 in a technologically
advanced future where humans have the ability to upload their consciousness into a virtual afterlife of their choosing.
The series follows Nathan Brown, who is uploaded to the expensive digital afterlife known as Lakeview by his controlling girlfriend, Ingrid. There, he begins to bond with another woman named Nora.
Upload's main cast also includes Zainab Johnson, Kevin Bigley, and Josh Banday. Jordan Johnson-Hinds, Chris Williams, Owen Daniels, Andrea Rosen, and William B. Davis in recurring roles.
Upload season 2 was released to much success this past March, and now audiences are getting more information about the next chapter.
Amell and Daniels seem well aware of the disappointment amongst fans and are looking to make amends with an increased episode count for Upload season 3.
There's no word that Upload season 3 is in production yet, though hopefully without the pandemic hindering the process, it should be able to hit Amazon Prime sometime soon.
