While Netflix prepares for the arrival of the third season of The Umbrella Academy, a batch of character posters reveals a big change from the comics regarding an important location

Each season of the Umbrella Academy has been based on a volume of the comic book series: season 1 was based on Apocalypse Suite, season 2 on Dallas, and season 3 will be all about Hotel Oblivion.

This place was built by Reginald Hargreeves, and it looks like a luxury hotel on the outside, but it’s actually a prison for all the villains the Umbrella Academy has defeated.

Netflix's The Umbrella Academy has already made a bunch of changes to the source material to fit its tone, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Hotel Oblivion also goes through major changes

The whole theme for the marketing of The Umbrella Academy season 3 has been travel, with the characters holding suitcases and these having stickers from different places
