As great as Spider-Man: No Way Home was, there's another Spidey Multiverse movie that ranks among some of the best films ever for many fans: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The film saw Miles Morales take over the role of Spider-Man after the untimely death of Peter Parker, only to get pulled into a Kingpin-led scheme that brought several other Spider-People over into his dimension.

Needless to say, many are looking forward to its sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, which was sadly recently delayed until June 2, 2023.

As disappointing as the news may be, Sony just revealed at CinemaCon that the project is set to have 240 characters, explore 6 different universes, and it has roughly 1,000 people working on it

so they have a lot of work to do. Hopefully it lives up to the massive hype which will have boiled to a breaking point by the time the movie actually releases.

That was far from Sony's only announcement at the convention—in fact, they also revealed the third Spider-Verse entry has a new name.

Sony Pictures gave a presentation at CinemaCon 2022, where the studio showed off the first fifteen minutes of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Following this, they also announced the proper name of the third entry in the series: Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
