Actor-director Ron Howard reacts to his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard's success directing Star Wars' The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
Ron began his career acting in iconic television shows like The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days before transitioning to work behind the camera.
As a director, he's helmed classics like Apollo 13, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon, Rush, and A Beautiful Mind, which won the Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Picture.
After working with Disney/Lucasfilm on 1988's Willow, Ron took over Phil Lord and Chris Miller's directorial duties on Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).
Bryce is known for acting roles such as The Village, The Lady in the Water, The Help, 50/50, Rocketman, Pete's Dragon, and the Jurassic World trilogy.
Bryce has since helmed an episode in each of The Mandalorian's two seasons and one episode of The Book of Boba Fett.
All three episodes have been a hit with audiences and critics alike, with The Book of Boba Fett's "Chapter 5: The Return of the Mandalorian" being hailed as Star Wars at its best.
Behind the camera or in front of it, it's safe to say her father and fans can't wait to see everything she does next.
