Star Wars prequel trilogy alum and Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregor has confirmed Mary Elizabeth Winstead's involvement in Disney+'s upcoming Ahsoka series.

While discussing his place in the Star Wars universe with Vanity Fair, McGregor remarked on how ingrained the franchise has become in his personal life.

he said. "Our little boy has been born into this massive Star Wars family. He will either embrace it or really go the other way. I don't know. Maybe he'll be a Trekkie!"

Winstead will appear in the series alongside Rosario Dawson, who reprises her role as the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

the World and as Huntress the 2020 DC Extended Universe film Birds of Prey. She and McGregor met on the set of Fargo in 2016 and married in 2022.

First appearing in 2008's Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated film, Ahsoka Tano was introduced as the Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker. 

McGregor's upcoming series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is set to follow the former Jedi Master during his life in exile following the Galactic Empire's rise to power.

The two Force sensitive assassins will presumably be joining Christensen's Darth Vader on his hunt across the galaxy for the titular Jedi.
