Noah Thompson, the American Idol season 20 winner and country singer, celebrated his much-deserved victory after a season of incredible performances.

At Noah's American Idol audition, he admitted that he had always dreamed of playing music as a career and being famous, but there are not many opportunities to do so where he is from.

For his American Idol Hollywood Week Showstoppers performance, Noah blew away the judges with his song choice of "Stay" by Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko.

During the American Idol Judges' Song Contest in Top 11 week, Noah sang "Heartbreak Warfare," a rock song which was chosen for him by Luke Bryan.

For the Top 10 American Idol Disney Night, Noah chose to sing "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. He made the classic song his own.

During Top 7 week, Noah was diagnosed with COVID-19 and had to perform his two songs live from his hotel room remotely.

During the Top 5 week, Noah returned to the live stage to perform Carrie Underwood's hit song, "So Small." For the first time, he moved around the stage while singing.

As the winner of American Idol season 20, Noah joins an elite group of legendary singers who have made extraordinary careers for themselves.
