With the home video release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, details surrounding an infamous trailer error from last year have been revealed. 

, There were all kinds of details being leaked that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would indeed reprise their respective web-slinging roles in the film.  

All of this hype came to a head in the fall of last year, just months before No Way Home's December theatrical release, when Marvel began releasing promotional trailers.  

While there was no concrete evidence, all it took was one small flub in a Brazilian-dubbed version of the trailer to expose Marvel's poker face. 

Towards the end of this version of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, one epic shot shows Tom Holland's Spider-Man leaping through the air to face off against not one but three villains at once 

Now, vindication has been wrought, as YouTubers Corridor Crew interview visual effects supervisor Kelly Port, who confirmed this exact theory.  

In the interview, Port confirms fans' long-held suspicions that the other two Spider-Men were simply removed from the shot for promotional purposes.
