Executive producer Grant Curtis recently revealed that Moon Knight will tell a completely new story with no ties to anything else in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"There's no attachment to the current MCU," Curtis said. "He's brand-new, and he is going on a brand-new adventure. We really think the fans are going to enjoy it."

However, despite the series' brutality, Curtis has also stated that Moon Knight is ultimately a story of self-discovery.

which further revealed the mind-bending plot, spotlighting Steven Grant as he is thrust into a "deadly mystery" involving the "powerful gods of Egypt."

Isaac, who has starred in critically acclaimed films such as Ex Machina and Show Me A Hero, recently called his role as Moon Knight one of the biggest challenges of his acting career.
