The events of Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 1 introduce another Jedi on Tatooine, but is Nari in the Star Wars movies?

The Disney+ series brings Ewan McGregor back to play the legendary Jedi Master 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

While he is the main Jedi for the purposes of the story, Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 1 brought another into the mix by featuring Benny Safdie as Nari.

Following an opening flashback to Order 66, Obi-Wan Kenobi's story begins in earnest with The Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and Reva coming to Tatooine to search for a Jedi.

Nari is quickly found by the Jedi hunters not too long after and can't stop himself from saving the local once again when Reva nearly kills him.

The appearance of Nari in Obi-Wan Kenobi includes him interacting with the titular Jedi, and he clearly knows that "Ben" Kenobi is really Obi-Wan, and not the ordinary man he pretends to be.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is the first official appearance of Benny Safdie's Jedi character, though. Nari is not in the Star Wars movies that came before.

while many also want Cal Kestis, Ahsoka Tano, and other Jedi to make appearances. Even if some Jedi from the films appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Nari is not one.
