Hayden Christensen responds to the reports about Darth Vader's rumored appearance in the Ahsoka series.

The actor is returning to Star Wars after almost two decades away, this time on the small screen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show on Disney+.

He will once again play Darth Vader, aka Anakin Skywalker, on the series. Christensen reunites with Ewan McGregor, who will reprise his role as the titular Jedi Master.=

There's a lot of anticipation surrounding Obi-Wan Kenobi for a few reasons, but arguably the biggest one is the confirmed rematch between Darth Vader and his former ally, friend, and Jedi Master.

The Rosario Dawson-led series is another Star Wars show heading to Disney+ and will focus on the fan favorite character Ahsoka Tano.

Originally introduced as Anakin's Padawan in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka's story was further fleshed out in The Clone Wars series and Star Wars Rebels.

The fact that Lucasfilm already had Christensen return to Star Wars makes it hard to believe that they won't be trying to put him in more projects where a Vader or Anakin cameo can help the story.

Aside from being a great act of fan service, seeing Vader - and perhaps, more importantly, Anakin - in Ahsoka can make the show better considering the pair's history.
