On Tuesday, April 12, Hailey Bieber posted a video on TikTok with a message directed at her haters and trolls. “Leave me alone,” she said. “At this point, I’m minding my business.

I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please, I’m begging you. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone. I beg of you, truly. That’s my only request.

The selfie video includes the caption, “This is for you guys in my comments every single time I post.” Bieber appears to be filming in her bedroom, with her hair down

While Hailey never mentions who she’s addressing and exactly what hate she’s been getting online, the message appears to be directed at one fandom in particular: Selena Gomez stans.

A certain group of these fans continues to flood Hailey Bieber’s social media with hate, likely because she’s married to Gomez’s ex, Justin Bieber.

The phrase “Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone” seems to address Selena and Justin’s relationship, which began in 2011 and continued on again, off again

On Sunday, April 10, Selena Gomez shared a video to TikTok Stories that was also directed at haters. Gomez’s video was directed at unsolicited comments about her body and her weight.

Moral of the story While celebrities are subject to criticism by being public figures that does not mean they should be subjected to harassment about their personal lives or bodies. Leave people alone
