Rodrigo took home three Grammys, winning best new artist, best pop vocal album for "Sour" and pop solo performance for her hit "Drivers License."

After collecting all three, she went backstage to take photos and talk with reporters when on of the trophies slipped and fell to the floor, breaking in half.

In a video of the moment posted on Twitter by Variety, the 19-year-old appeared to laugh off the incident before the trophy appeared to be put back together for more photos.

Other artists could relate. At the 52nd Grammy Awards in 2010, Taylor Swift won four awards, including album of the year.

While taking photos with her trophies, she also dropped one. In 2017, Adele famously broke her award for winning album of the year.

Asked about the experience, she told The Times, “I think it’s disappointing in general to see people discredit young women’s abilities and talents.

All music is inspired by other music, and I think it would be so cool if a girl 15 years from now wants to write a song inspired by something I made. That’s the whole point of creativity.”

Her competition for best new artist at the Grammys included Finneas, the Kid Laroi, Saweetie, Baby Keem and Japanese Breakfast, among other acts.
