Following The CW ordering Gotham Knights to series, several cast members react to the big news of their show going forward. Since 2012, The CW has been the home of the Arrowverse,

an interconnected universe based on multiple iconic DC Comics heroes from executive producer Greg Berlanti. Starting with Arrow.

After they are framed for the Caped Crusader's murder, they will fight to clear their names while also becoming the next generation of DC heroes.

While The CW has recently cancelled three other DC dramas, the network gave Gotham Knights a series pick-up as of last week.

While Gotham Knights comes from Batwoman talent, the series is not eyed as a spinoff to the Arrowverse drama, nor will it be connected to the upcoming video game of the same name.

There may also be flashbacks with the Dark Knight, as Batman's costume was recently revealed through a behind-the-scenes image.

Other than Gotham Knights, The CW has only renewed The Flash and Superman & Lois for season 9 and season 3, respectively.

The only remaining DC show awaiting renewal is Stargirl, as season 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
