CBS won't air the FBI season 4 finale due to the recent school shooting in Texas. The Dick Wolf-produced show first premiered in September 2018 and is now in its fourth season.
FBI is a fast-paced drama that dives into the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The series stars Jeremy Sisto, Zeeko Zaki, Missy Peregrym, Katherine Renee Turner, and Alana de la Garza.
The most recent episode of FBI season 4 aired last Tuesday, May 17, and sees the team investigating the shooting of a retired DEA agent who is shot outside of a bakery.
Other episodes in the fourth season of the hit CBS drama have centered on drugs, murder, and extremist terrorists.
FBI currently has two spin-off series, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted, both of which were able to air their respective season finales on Tuesday, May 24.
Considering the subject matter of the FBI episode, it seems CBS has made the right decision to pull it from the network's lineup.
As of now, there have been over 200 mass shootings in 2022 alone. In order to help the victims and the nation heal from this tragedy, the FBI season 4 finale will air at a later date.
