Euphoria's Dominic Fike, who plays Elliot, reveals that he auditioned for the show while high on mushrooms.

Euphoria has since become a major hit for the network, chronicling the lives of a group of high school students as they deal with issues regarding drugs, sex, and violence.

The show, which was created by Sam Levinson, recently concluded season 2, continuing to grow in popularity but earning more divisive reviews.

Euphoria season 2 introduced several new characters, including Fike's Elliot, a mysterious, guitar-playing stoner.

Elliot first appears in season 2 episode 1 and does drugs with Rue (Zendaya) during Virgil's New Year's Eve party.

The character would go on to play a more significant role in future episodes as Rue fights to overcome her addiction.

It remains to be seen what will be next for Fike's character, but the actor has already confirmed that Elliot returns in Euphoria season 3.

It's unclear what other acting projects Fike might pursue outside of Euphoria, but it would seem that the actor might not want to include mushrooms in his audition process in the future.
