Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Elizabeth Olsen revealed that fans can look forward to a changed Wanda Maximoff due to the events of the Disney+ series, WandaVision.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, Olsen explained that the events of WandaVision will still be affecting Wanda during her appearance in Marvel Studios' upcoming Doctor Strange sequel.

There's a lot to have learned at the end of that show," Olsen said. "Although she is accountable for Westview and needs to flee,

I do think there is part of her that feels some sort of resolve in allowing her destiny to be this mythic woman of the Scarlet Witch."

However, Olsen noted that audiences can expect a more self-assured and assertive Wanda in Multiverse of Madness.

"I think we find her in a place of confidence that we haven't seen, and a place of clarity," she said.

WandaVision follows Wanda Maximoff (Olsen) and her husband, Vision (Paul Bettany), as they live an idyllic life in suburban Westview while trying to hide their extraordinary abilities.
