Rachel McAdams' Christine Palmer received her own official character poster for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which was recently released by Marvel Studios.

Strange sequel, one features McAdams as Christine Palmer, indicating that the character will have a bigger role in the film than originally anticipated.

Christine receiving her own character poster is a welcome surprise after a recent television promo for Multiverse of Madness seemingly removed the character from a pivotal scene

which saw Doctor Strange and America Chavez looking through a multiversal portal. Dr. Christine Palmer first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016's Doctor Strange

The exact nature of her role in the sequel is unclear. Though, it was recently confirmed by producer Richie Palmer that Christine and Strange would not be in a romantic relationship in the sequel.

"They are not back together, unfortunately... as we saw at the end of Doctor Strange, he chose to stay in the Sanctum, meaning he can't entertain his selfish desires," Palmer said.

Multiverse of Madness wrapped extensive reshoots in January 2021 with the additional material helmed by director Sam Raimi and Loki writer Michael Waldron.
