AEW seems to have a number of unhappy wrestlers backstage, with MJF recently grabbing headlines, and now women's champion Thunder Rosa is reportedly disgruntled as well.
giving her a pair of title defenses since pinning Britt Baker in a brutal steel cage match at St. Patrick's Day Slam on March 16th.
That bout is nearly two and a half months old, though, and Rosa has not wrestled in a match on Wednesday Night Dynamite or Friday Night Rampage since
Now it's being exclusively reported by Andy H. Murray of Whatculture.com that this lack of TV time has badly upset the women's champion.
"Unnamed sources close to the situation state that the reigning AEW Women's World Champion has become very frustrated with how little she has been onscreen.
This was exacerbated by Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, on which Thunder Rosa received no focus despite her well-received match with Serena Deeb at Double Or Nothing."
AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door, it seems unlikely that Rosa will get her share of the spotlight anytime soon since New Japan doesn't feature women's wrestling whatsoever
That could potentially set Rosa up for an explosive match with someone like Mercedes Martinez or Deonna Purrazzo, but mid-July is a long time away from now for the current champion.
