FX has released the first trailer for The Bear. Starring Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) as an up-and-coming chef named Carmen Berzatto, the series centers on his return to Chicago

Also featuring Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri (Big Mouth), Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, and Liza Colon-Zayas, the series focuses on the themes of family

food as Carmen works to unite his rag-tag kitchen staff while overcoming strained familial relationships and the tragic loss of his brother.

Suggesting as much chaos in Carmen's personal life as in the kitchen, FX Networks has unveiled the first trailer for The Bear.

Showcasing mounting bills and dodgy deals for food ingredients, the financial woes of Chicagoland are quickly laid bare as Carmen attempts to fill the shoes of his recently deceased sibling.

"I have every intention of turning this into a respectable place of business," he declares, fighting to implement order and gain the trust of the suspicious kitchen staff.

Though frequently thwarted, Carmen's determination, coupled with the presence of a rising star in the kitchen, gives cause to hope for the restaurant's future.

Created by showrunner Christopher Storer for FX Productions, the series is also executive produced by Storer, Joanna Calo , Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, and Nate Matteson of Super Frog.
